Not sure how legitimate this article (http://www.bbspot.com/News/2006/11/home-theater-regulations.html) is but it does get you thinking.
How far will the movie companies go to get maximum revenue???
The MPAA defines a home theater as any home with a television larger than 29" with stereo sound and at least two comfortable chairs, couch, or futon.

Is it a home theater if just uncomfortable chairs?

That can't be for real surely? I mean do they send inspectors around to see if a chair is comfortable?

Ah it's obviously not true but there was talk before about concern over home theatres depriving the movie companies of revenue. Thought it might make for interesting debate.
Obviously Bush putting faith based firewalls on government computers would have been better but how many people enjoy talking about firewalls!
