You can't edit posts more than a day old unless you're a mod. So you'll have to either become a mod or else quote your own post, update it and ask a mod to delete everything that went before.

Yeah, update it no worries .... i'll stick it there now.

Although, Pineapple Stu would have thrown his keyboard at me last year when i went and deleted half of them in error (d'ooohhhh) :o :)

Thats the plan so lads, post up here, and if City till I Die quotes his post with the changes then i'll delete the others to keep it up to date.

offered them full time contracts but they declined. They should have been kept on pat time though, but if we get in better players it may be forgiven. 2 of our best players though.

GUFC website announces release of David Goldbey, Nicky Curran and Ryan O'Donnell & thanks them for their contributions.

Goldbey will be remembered for scoring the goal in the Showgrounds some years ago that relegated Sligo.

As we know the shoe is on the other foot now with Sligo in the ascendancy and looking to improve on last season's creditable finish which could even have been bettered if not for the acrimonious departure of their manager to Phibsboro or should that be Fibs-boro?:p

I know McT always scores against us but he is injury prone. Rob could be making a big stick for himself if Sligo get off to a bad start.
