The latest eL suspensions are here (http://www.walkthechalk.com/eircom/suspensions.html)
Suspensions going into the new season always bug the ****e out of me. Every team always seem to have a player or two out of the first game every season because of suspensions.
Is this the same everywhere? It never seems to affect other leagues as much as here.
BTW: FOR ATTN OF DERRY CITY
Ciaran Martyn is suspended for the first game of the new season. Just in case you're still having bother that awl fax machine ;)

Martyn is due to serve his suspension in the Cup Final, but I think Derry are appealing it.

I hear the internet connection is ropey enough as well, and they can prove it :)
Hopefully the non mention of Daragh Maguire means he'll be OK for cup final.

Meeting was 15th November, so he wouldn't have come into their radar; doesn't he miss next game automatically for his red card? Pending an appeal, no doubt:)

According to previous releases he's due to miss the next "eircom league game as per FIFA directive" I'd want any clarification signed by John Delaney, Ollie Byrne, jim Roddy, the president and the pope just in case though
