George O' Callaghan was injured yesterday while training! His injury has been likened to Stephen Napiers one but thankfully not as serious!
George is in alot of pain and is unable to put any weight on his foot and has been put on a course of anti-inflammatories! It now looks very likely that he wont be playing friday night!

not good news

If he played like he did against Bray then he would be a huge asset against Bohs. We need him on friday, lets hope he makes a miraculous recovery.

Yeah George seems to be in form lately - most impressive away performance by him on friday last.

Is Mulligan still injured? Who would replace George?

Maybe its time Colin P got a chance to get a place?

Definately not good news. He has been playing well and knocking in a few goals.

He would have been one that Bohs would have had to keep an eye on. Without him they can pay even more attention on JO'F.

Hopefully Woodsy will be up for this one as much as was for the Rovers game a few weeks ago.

This could be a "mind game" of sorts, making Bohs think they dont have to plan for george and surprise them before Kick Off.

Erra if he aint playing we can always play a 451 formation. its an attacking one after all!

(if he is out, is it just for bohs or is it somewhat longterm?)

dunno. all i saw about it was that post on citynet. maybe he´s about to go thru an "osam like" run of injuries and miraculous last minute recoveries :)

as for 4-5-1 being attacking- all the big teams over here play a variation on 4-5-1 (real, barca, valencia, depor) sort of a 4-2-3-1
it´s a handy system, but you need a quality striker.

Flynny apparently got a broken nose in training too - were Georgie and himself really that concerned about who claimed the goal from Bray?
