So lads it all comes down to Fridays match. Should we beat bohs, and win ALL our other games we will win the league, as we have a game in hand and have to play Bohs away again. at least it is in our hands now.

Its not over yet

a unlikely occurence to be honest. while we are good enough to pull one off big wins out of the hat we are unable to put together a sustained run.

also it is worrying that o'flynn's goals have dried up

i know we are unlikely to win all the matches, but with us having to play Bohs twice more, and plenty of Dublin derbys (draws) remaining we have a real chance if we can win the next 2 games

I reckon the cross should be full on Friday night. The lads wont need any motivating. Bohs do look like the best team this season, but they have everything to lose. How often in the past have we seen a team build up a huge lead, then start falling apart. Fingers crossed City can win on Friday. Whatever happens it should be a good game. If we win, it sets things up perfectly for the Pat's game next Monday. Two full houses, two City wins and the momentum will definitely be with us.

we CAN do it. we SHOULD do it. but our record in pressure games like this is not great. fingers crossed- COME ON CITY :)

What will be telling is if City can start picking up points on their travels.
I don't think City will win all their remaining games, but neither will Bohs.
At least it is livening up the title race.

yeah. we can afford to drop a few points at home as long as we make up for it away. but no way will we win the league with our current away record, no matter what we do at home.

Hop[efully now the team have got a deserved away it might take away some of the prtessure they might have had to keep winning their home games.

Theres no doubt Bohs have a better team but that didn'ty stop them drawing with pats last friday. The cross under lights on a friday night seems is a first for many teams this season & might be putting them off as well.

Seems to be a bit of a gap between shels & ouselves in 2nd & 3rd with the rest of the league so hopefully at the very least we can maintain that.
