There is already a laneway there that runs from the carrick road. It just needs to have tarmac laid. Havent seen the bohs plans or the monaghan plans so cant comment if they are similar

we don't have any. We're leaving Dalyer, remember?

I meant propossed plans. By the way have any plans been drawn up yet for the new stadium?

Nothing released so far.

Here's the artist's impression of what the Shopping Centre/Tramway End Delopment would have looked like before we decided to chase the yankee dollar as Richie Ó hEadhra might say. I don't see how they resemble the Dundalk plans!

Nice and handy that this facility needs an access road that on any other occasion would never get the go-ahead.

Sorry to be a pessimist, I hope all ground improvements work out for all clubs in the league but I would harbour suspicions on the motivations for this choice of development.
hmmm, an access road that would also conveniently provide access to a tract of development land recently acquired by Dundalk's new owner...you're such a cynic;)

Did you bother reading my post or like most mons are jealous of your big club neighbours and try to run us down.

The way craptown are jealous of your big club neighbours 20 miles down the M1 and try (unsuccessfuly) to run us down??:D :D
Pay your bills first GAA boy and then start giving out about other teams.

So there's a laneway that just needs a bit of tarmac eh? Big difference between a stoney path and access for a couple of hundred apartments - I'd suspect you would need planning permission to upgrade the former to the latter.

Its funny how like the plans Monaghan have submitted to the FAI that the Dundalk ones are.....was someone in Louth snooping???

will the cows have to be moved from behind the goal, or is it opposite the main stand?

Why would i be jealous of drogheda your just like wigan or blackburn a small club with money. Your attendances are shocking for a team challanging for the title. Why is it anytime someone from Dundalk posts something someone from drogheda attacks it i think we can see where the jealousy is! 9 leagues and 9 cups vs 1 cup??

So there is a couple of hundred appartments going in beside oriel park now. Where did you hear this? And why would you need planning permission to tarmac a lane in your own property?

So during Dundalk's lowest point in their history Drogheda has only won one more trophy in their most successful period? Hmmm doesnt say much for your club then :p

Well Matthews didn't buy Hiney Park for his kids to play in, did he?
And yes, if you want to develop a site then access is a key part of the planning process.

There is already an entrace into hiney park as well as the laneway to oriel so whats your point? You obviously dont know the area or Dundalk's plans so why do you keep making guesses and asumptons based on no knowlede whatsoever.

Good luck to Dundalk with the developments. Its nice to see them back from the brink of extinction a few short years ago.

Does Matthews run that bus company based in Inniskeen?? A big Dundalk AFAIK so cant see why he'd want to send the club down the tube :ball:

The Cows will be rehomed when the new housing estate is built on the hill anyway but no, our development is opposite the main stand beside the Astro Parks.
