Play it at Dalyer - Fook Ollie and the $h€liban.......... If he's so concerned with the state of the pitch why does he rent out the ground to 3 clubs???

You must be having a laugh. No way the brilliant brains in the FAI could trust mere culchies with a cup final

Soccer : FAI Cup Final Goes Ahead 100 Per Cent At Tolka

11:19 Monday October 21st 2002

The FAI Cup final between Shamrock Rovers and Derry City definitely goes ahead at Tolka Park on Sunday. There was a doubt after the pitch cut up badly during the Shamrock Rovers - Bohemians Eircom League game yesterday. But FAI officials have inspected the Drumcondra venue today and given it the thumbs up following the mudbath.

Didn't it host a Cup Final between two Cork Clubs. But then as you keep telling us you're a city too and not culchies at all

I know, we´re kinda getting tired of having to tell ye really :p
Flancare Park or Turners Cross should be considered possible venues now- obviously Cork too far south for this one in practical terms, maybe Flansiro´s a bit too small? What do people think?

1973 replay Cork Hibs v Shelbourne at Flower Lodge. All other finals and replays in Dublin, including the 1953 final and replay when two Cork teams contested it!

Do you really want Rovers fans in Cork any more than you have to though?
