The weather forecast for Wednesday's match is awful.

What is the procedure for sitting behind the goals in heavy rain at Lansdowne? Are macs provided? Are umbrella's advised/recommended?, or do you have to sit and get soaked for 2 hours?

Umbrellas are the devils invention, anyone bringing one to any match should face serious consequences... I'd imagine they'd be considered dangerous anyway and probably confiscated, certainly the bigger pointier ones

all credit TO umbrellas but they are a pain in the ass at a match but i like them cos they keep me dry when outside and not at an ireland game.

Don't bring an umbrella. Just grab a plastic bag. We're all used to the rain by now.

Do they even f**king sell umbrellas back home anymore? F**kin umbrellas. That's a scared of the rain 'tan' invention no self respecting Irish person should use one. We should all be well used to being pi**ed on by now. What's the worst that can happen anyway? Cold, flu, pneumonia? You'd be back on your feet in no time once you didn't die.

Umbrellas! You could have someone's eye out with one of those things. Get a big aul fertiliser bag and make holes for your head and arms, no better man.

Have got a soaking on the south terrace once or twice, dont ever remember seeing ponchos etc been given out. A friend of mine brought an umbrella with him but wasnt allowed to bring it in. Agree with ye on the umbrellas, no way should they be allowed at a match.

I love looking at matches here when its p*ssing rain on the open terraces. It looks so fcuking drab and depressing, almost communist-esque.

Sponsored by Ford. I dumped one in my bag the last time & was able to find this morning. Quick test run seemed to indicate fairly effective.

Its been Ark like weather today though

I for one will be dusting down my "typical FAI" comments if I arrive at my seat and find no poncho for me.......
