Is there any chance he might change his mind and stay on for one more season ? if we are in the premier division next year we need a top class keeper. Remember the season Goughie first came to United ? Ollie cunningham was leaking goals like sieve, Goughie arrived and we had our best season in the last 20 years finishing 3rd.

dont know he seemed to recognise the reception and made an effort to drag it out (his leaving the pitch) - it was like a goodbye to terryland alright

didnt he once already come back, when he was meant to retire before

He was going to retire at the end of last season. Thanks be to Jebus he didn't. I voted for Raf in that poll thing but I was very wrong. Gough is The Man.

Ya, hopefully with over 100+ fans in kilkenny it could be a wonderful occasion and weekend...Im sure Goughy will get da reception he deserves because he has kept us in so many games this season. He'll be hard to replace!!:( :(
