Great win for you. Its gonna be really tough for us tomorrow playing against are bogey team. Pitch is gonna be very bad also which wont suit our passing game.

the pitch was tricky and soft, gethins goal was a peach his first one, could have been 20 - 1 their goalie was man of the match, 150 at game 110 from galway, great utd crowd well behaved and all out for the craic

Unfortunately that's not quite true - there was a SCUM element who insisted on standing beside the wall - it's hooligans like these that we need to weed out of the club. I'll point him out at the start of next season and hopefully we can ban him from Terryland or he may start standing beside walls there too.

As for the match there were about 5 cleared off the line and the keeper made about 5 great saves - it really could have been double figures. Kilkenny were really terrible. One of the worst teams I've ever seen - 2 points from their last 22 games sums it up though I guess.

it wa a good performance against a really poor team and it could and probably should have been a lot more than 5-1. now whatever people on here were sayin about kilkenny being one of the best clubs in ireland because they had a great off the pitch situation has to agree that they were a joke on saturday night and i think most of the good junior sides in galway would have easily been able to beat kilkenny

They weren't great, but they still had us on the ropes at 1-1 in the second half. When we had the extra man, the game was effectively over.

Kilkenny are a poor side and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much potential on or off the pitch. However, they have their own facilities, which are set to improve again over the off season.

It was great to see us killing them off. We never done that until the second half of this season. Cousins is the man. Was a great atmosphere at the game the maroon smoke flares confetti etc made it look like the San Siro!!!! with 60 people in the stand!!!!!!!

Great night out too with several people from here, author included, that didnt sleep a wink!!!!!!
