Well if PS is correct in saying that it is the FAI Cup then why is it there?!

Glad to see the notion that I could be wrong never crossed your mind! :)

I've only really seen grainy pictures of the FAI Cup from our match programme against Everton in 1985, and also when Bray Wanderers brought it to my school in 1991. It does look kind of similar to the one in the photo though. It has a lid, and...em...

Just googled a few cups from Irish football and they are absolutely hideous. Before I googled them had any of them been put in place in front of me I wouldn't have a clue which was which. :eek: :o

I think the one in the middle is the FAI Junior Cup.

I remember seeing the draw once on TV and noticing it was a smaller version of the Sam Maguire!!
