At our October meeting on Tuesday Oct 10th, we hosted a very successful forum with Brian Lennox and Damien Richardson. We had a very large turnout on the evening, and many, many questions were asked of both men, on everything from crowd control at Turner’s Cross on match nights, to the current situation regarding different players at the club, and the worries over the present financial state of the club. All questions were answered honestly and openly, and we sincerely thank both Brian and Damien for their openness, patience and good grace on what was a fairly long night.

The CCOSC will be holding further meetings like this in the future, where various people connected with the club will be present to answer your questions.

Our next CCOSC monthly meeting will be held at the Garda Club, next Tuesday, Nov 14th, at 8 pm. We will be giving further details of the CCFC Hall of Fame and selling tickets, our plans for December and as usual, we will have badges on sale, and will be taking orders for our Polo Shirts.

Inaugural CCOSC Hall of Fame

The Cork City Official Supporter's Club will hold the inaugural Cork City FC Hall of Fame on Friday, November 24th at the Doughcloyne Inn, at 8pm.

Two players will be presented with awards, and we hope this will be become an annual event, and will build into a much-valued honour for all the playing legends of CCFC.

We hope to conjure up some fond memories of days gone by with some of the many great players who have thrilled us over the years. At City, we've been lucky with the abundance of superb players and marvellous characters we have had in all the various squads at the club. Just think of all the great goalkeepers, daring defenders, magical midfielders, wonderful wingers and super strikers we have had the pleasure of watching in the City colours!

So come along for a night we hope will be a celebration of the many players who have put us through the entire range of emotions: joy, frustration, excitement, agony and ecstasy!...and all of it was worth every cent, wasn't it?!

Tickets for this event are priced at €10 and available in the Club Shop, food will be served on the night, music and dancing will be provided by the Demon of the Decks, DJ Ruairi, and all are welcome.

Up the Rebel Army,
CCOSC.
