Shelbourne F.C. are considered to be somewhat of an unorganised, amateur club and, crucially, have a convicted criminal, Ollie Byrne, at their helm. Fenlon's anti-tax evasion stance has been cited by some as key to his decision to leave and, in the words of Phil Babb, "join a proper club."

nice!

Dermot Keely is a homosexual who enjoys shaking his booty in several gay clubs around Dublin

:D :D

Anyway as for our managerial situation, according to todays papers its between Fenlon, Dolan and Brian Kerr

Are you sure that's not just a reprise of the old Roddy Collins/ Dave Rogers wind- up routine?

Well Dolan is quoted in the Sindo as saying he will not be taking over another Eircom League, that he is going for his Pro Licence so he can apply for positions elsewhere.

Which leaves Pat Fenlon... in pole position. Will half of the Shelbourne team follow him North?
