As the season draws to a close its fair to say we've had our good times (McCourt pulling hamsting in Showgrounds last June and Foy skipping past Derry defenders to the chorus of you fat B*****D and scoring a beauty), and bad times (Belfield, Belfield, Brandywell... ) and a couple of laughs (Geoff Horsefield, ha). But which one of the players do you rate most after the season?

Burnsie got my vote. of all the players that came in with Connor, Burnsie has been the most effective. I presume the talk of him buying a house in Sligo is rubbish...

Interesting to note that 2 of the 3 people that gave Conor O Grady player of the season so far are based abroad:)

We all know O'Grady hasn't preformed well at all this year!
maybe in a few games he put in good preformances, but he has had more bad ones than good!

Not that i think Conor was bad just thought there would be a few more deserving recipients than him .

I can only put in 10 options and one of those was reserved for "Other" so people were always going to lose out!

Has to be Adanm Hughes for me, showed versatility in playing wide or centre of midfield, scored soem goals always give 100% and cannot remember a bad gameEven last night he ran his socks off when others were just happy to paly the game down

foyzer for me, for 2/3rds of the season was as solid as a rock and although his performances and weight have gone wayward of late he still put in a solid enough performance last night. plus the way he ran along the goal line against derry in june...

btw. singh cant really be considered as he was only here since july

disagree with you there don't think Foyzer deserves it, as the way he has put on weight again over the last couple of months and laziness, is very, very unprofessional. I thought he was average enough last night....

it has to be JOH for me as he has been consistent and at times brilliant with burnsie very close behind. His only weakness in my eyes is that I just wish he would stay in his 6 yard box when the game is in play and not his usual tendency to stand outside it and cause the odd moment of panic.

O'Grady's work rate has been first class, some of his tackling has been outstanding but it must be pointed out his passing leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it would improve if he went full time or maybe its the pitch i dunno, alot of possesion has been lost in midfield. There has also throughout the season been a problem between our midfield and strikers. They never really a sufficient connection between them.

Chrissy Turner has the most potential than any player that has graced the showgies in years. How has Raf proformed in Galway this season. There should be an effort to bring him back if he's still in form. Didn't he fall out with Connor? or was it the club over money????

would love to see Raf come back to us....he would give us something we have being missing since he left,as in someone who can get down the right a beat players,on more than one occasion in the match...aka Faz

i reckon if everyone got behind the lad (faz) he could really perfrom consistently. with all the auld lads in the stand booing his every move who could perform under that pressure? get behind him in the next few games and discourage those who boo him. he has not been the consistent sh1te player that everyone says he is
