does he have his hand on Brennan's thigh but he also seems to have his hand on Gary Murphy's leg as well. My guess is that it a very cold day and the poor lad just needs to heaten them up.
My other guess is a stab in the dark but nonetheless worth considering. Just before the photo I guess, young Seamus Crowe looked down at his thighs and said Jaysus I do look fat in these shorts, so he grabs Brennan's and Murphy's legs, pulls them together, forcing his thighs to move upwards rather than outwards making them look a tad skinnier.
Then perhaps he just a bit camera shy and needed reassurance from his mates, Who knows???????????
