Let one in in the last minute, just in case we'd spoil our 100% record against them.

Bloody hell, only two teams beat us three times in the league - Cork and UCD.

ffs the poxy *******s:mad:.

Only one good thing has come out of tonight so, the spineless rat Sean Connor has officially left after months of pimping himself to other clubs:)

Failed to score now from five of the last six games. Pats are starting to creep up. Team confidence must be very low.

Attendance was 270. There was no reaction that I heard of any sort from anyone in the ground except for the goal at the end. It was too cold to move. You were pretty bad. We had a goal ruled out for offside, no idea if it was, but we had a fair few chances. I wouldn't say we deserved a total rout but a win was deserved.

I was reading the aertel report and it makes the game sound a lot more even than it was. Faz did hit the bar alright but it was one of those "Ah, sure I'll leave it, it's flying over" then take a late dip and smacks the bar. Our goal was really scrappy. Our lad dives and gets toe onto your backpass to nip it past the keeper. Manager to rush to his feet and slide at it again to roll it over the line. It's a weird one, you look bad every time you play us yet you've had a better and more exciting season.

PS, any idea who was in defence for us? Apart from Foy that is!

Sorry, Sligoman, I never took the team down or even heard the announcement. Don't even remember what any of them looked like. They weren't too sharp though.

By the way, the referee fell over in pantomine Paul Alcock style fashion when UCD scored the goal. Something to keep an eye out for on eL weekly if they bother to show it.

Mulligan and McKenzie in the middle, Coleman and Fatso on the flanks.

EDIT: Just seen team there.

Did nothing of note to the best of my memory. Is it really true that Willie McStay wished to bring him into Celtic's youth fold?

Didn't see too much of the ball. Whenever he had possesion he received it with his back to goal. He has very good first touch and seems to have good technique.

he is a great player and hopefully whoever the new manager is can keep him for a while and give him a few games, then everyone will see how good he is.
All top players make it look so easy and Choice is a fine example of this..bit of a Kanu stlye of play, only he can take people on aswell.

Good..I hope he gets a fair share of it! He is also a Nigerian U-21 International player which means he must be a good player..:)

How in the name of Jaysus are Sligo fifth in the table? Delighted to see a promoted regional side do so well like, but you've been muck the three times against us and I just don't understand it at all?!?!

you've been muck ... against us

Seems to be part of a longstanding club tradition. :o Stu, can you remember the last time Rovers played well against UCD?

There was maybe 50 Rovers fans so no one was gonna shout at Sean. It was one terrible game,Faz hit the bar early on and i dont think UCD keeper had a save to make for the rest. None of the back 4 who started against derry were playing so we were always gonna struggle at the back and there was a lot of mistakes. Started with one up front, presumably so the 5 in midfield could help the inexperienced back 4 but as always when we play one up front it doesnt go to well. Yet another loss to UCD and we deserved nothing less. There was no sign of Sean to appear out during the warm up but he did appear for the game!

Nope. That's seven wins in a row for us against youz. I think that equals our record winning streak against anyone, along with our current streak against Limerick. Couldn't even beat Monaghan or Kilkenny seven times in a row. Really wierd!

Edit - I tell a lie. We've beaten Monaghan, Kilkenny and Limerick seven times in a row. All those runs were ended in 2004 though.

Was pretty poor stuff indeed and bitterly cold. One of those games that you were just willing for the ref to blow for full time.

As mentioned above, Rovers only had one decent chance - when Faz hit the bar.

Not too many fans down as it. We were on the opposite side to Connor and he didn`t come near us. A few were at the fence on the far side when he was heading back into the changing rooms, but not too sure what sort of reception they gave him.

faz, singh, foy were poor. coleman was a bit nervy lookin but did ok. choice and mansaram were poor mctiernan was probably our best player

we were on top for 1st 20 mins or so and had half chances but nothin more
