Excellent to see that Cian is finally getting his way in the Advertiser! For way too long we've played second fiddle to other sports but at last were gauranteed at least two articles a week on our fav subject! Well done Cian O'Connell!!!!!!

PS if you read this we'll forgive you the fact that you always praise Alan Murphy!!!! You are probably right in that he will perform better in the top flight. Yes he does have the skill ......so why doesn't he use it!!!!

the excellent coverage - has far more to do with the lack of any other sporting event worth mentioning, occurring this weekend - but this exposure will be advantageous in getting a few more heads down to see the kildare game

in fairness the advertiser has always given us good coverage and Cian is a fan. Keith Kelly also is a fan and gives us as much coverage as he can given his sports editors narrow view of the word sport.

i suppose i should have qualified the above statement - with extra page space/volume - as opposed to the quality ...very positive GUFC support from the advertiser of late

also seen that GUFC are advertising for a sales executive in it. Anybody interested ? :) something tells me that nicks goals for the year would be extremely high and only someone who excels in this position will be up to his standards!

Makes a change from the advertiser being full of pictures of the lord mayor !!

Pity the advertiser and or Independent don't publish the league tables.
I sent an email to the Independent suggesting this, and also suggesting they get someone to sponsor it, but of course got no reply from them.
