I could. And it's absolutely laughable. Idiots!
Have to agree with you. Qualification for 2004 is going to be VERY difficult if we have even one near repeat of Moscow.

You muppet. It was one match we lost. ONE MATCH and suddenly we aint going to qualify. Might i just point out that many teams have lost as many as 2 or 3 games in qualifiers and still qualified in first place. I also may point out that we lost 2 in the run for euro 2000 and lost out in the playoff.

This anti McCarthy, Pro Keane business is so ridiculous, making otherwise intelligent people into ignorant gobsh*tes.

Oh, and Murphy OUT BTW :D

Got to agree there. I´ve never been a fan of McCarthy´s but I think the way this whole thing has dragged on is crazy. Can we just put it in the past and get on with supporting our country please?

I didn't say we wouldn't qualify. What I said was another defeat in this group and we are in serious s**t indeed. The teams you speak of would have to have been class acts. I'm not sure Ireland are talented enough to take a second loss and still grab 1st place. Regarding 2000, we had a vice like grip on 1st place going into the last match and we didn't even qualify for the tournament! Who's the muppet now?

Yeah but that style of football won't work in the modern game. He did very badly with the England U-21 team.

Right. Thats the problem. The whole debate is so polarised at this stage. If you´re pro-Mick, you´re anti-R**, or vice-versa. As it happens I have very little time for either of them at this stage.
