The Swinging Curtis's ???

Haha, reminds me of when a guy I know was thinking of names for a punk band and he came up with 'Louise Woodward and the Shaking Babies', still gives me a chuckle to this day, although he didn't use it in the end

i fell in with a bunch of latchico chancers belting out pogues tunes all over England about 3 years ago going by the name 'The Dead Rabbits' after the Irish emmigrant gang from Scorceses, Gangs Of New York movie

here we be: http://www.thedeadrabbits.com/index.html

we recieved the ultimate compliment on the name choice when Spider Stacey got in touch and said how he loved the name and the fact that we even existed, he even tipped up at a London gig and gave us all backdoor passes for the 04 Brixton gig.

My favourite band is Echo & The Bunnymen. Funnily enough but actually true I've been thinking of a name for a tribute for them since quite a while, as the theme was brought up on the Bunnymen.com forum. Easy ones would be "Happy Dead Men", "The Yo-Yo Men" or "the Tourquouise Days" but those are so evident they almost lack originality.

These Charming Men are superb, been to two shows of them already and each time it's fun fun fun!

Or a gay grunge band - "Queervana"? There IS/WAS in existence an all-gay but serious metal band called Pansy Division.

EDIT:Just googled Pansy Division ...they're a punk-rock band not metal as I mistakenly said earlier.

seek and ye shall find. I seriously don't want to contravene any rules on plugging things I have a material interest in. In fact I seem to recall giving both barrells to some Sligo chap doing that with a girl-band a while back.:)
