In case noone knew they are this week.

http://www.shamrockrovers.ie/ Rovers previews

http://www.stpatsfc.com/ Pats previews (popup is cool but a popup so probably blocked by most)

http://www.sligorovers.com/ ummmm no preview

http://www.derrycityfc.net/ nothing there.

Personally its the biggest game ever for me, i cant wait for it. I have always loved going to Tolka just hated playing Shels there :p Pats and Rovers games there were always highly entertaining and the atmosphere unique (shame we swapping stands but its there ground so they have choice).

Playing them over is the draw i wanted win or lose (draw be nice) it should be a cracking game to be at, it seems only Pats and Rovers care about the cup. We know we gonna lose, Rovers the cup kings so well up for it, Derry and Sligo seem preoccupied with the league.

Has the cup lost its magic, or in our case feckin voodoo magic ?

Getting boring at this stage Pats fans

Who are you telling? You think we like going into a semi final with a first division side on a run of 4 straight wins expecting to lose?

We are not preoccupied with the league, the players prob went into the last 2 games with eyes on the Derry cup game if anything, lots of talk on our forum about the game.

With all due respect Dodge thats crap & you know it, Pats are fully expecting to steam roll us tomorrow, you can come out with all the second guessing nonsense you want but its tiresome at this stage, even Doc by his own admission expects pats to win & then lose the final to Derry FFS!

Doc can think what he likes, I'm fecking bricking it. Most Pats fans (rightly) expect the premier team to win. I don't

I havent see Dr Nightdubs views - as i dont visit the shamrock rovers sites...giggle :D

Its gonna be a great game - I fully expect the under dogs to win or take it to a replay, Pats make terrible favourites and everyone knows the league and fai will do everything to ensure that delaneys darlings make the final so they can justify shoe horning them into the delaneyship

its the world against pats

and no one can deny that

its a siege mentality - but beware Shamrock - anto Murphy loves the slop

The South Dublin County Council are sponsoring the Rovers/Pats semi..... am surprised that the GAAliban haven't demanded that the SDCC withdraw their sponsorship and/or threatened a trip to the High Court to seek an injunction !!

Nice to see our future landlords supporting us in this way and IMO does give a nice two fingers to the GAA and their forthcoming spurious judicial review

Is that why you decided to give yourselves a psychological boost for the cup by losing 4:0 to Derry in the league last week....? :D

If Derry beat us they will setting a record there first time ever to Win a FAI cup match in Sligo ! You guys have a very bad record against in Sligo overall.

Records always fall, sooner or later....

We won our first southern trophy in Sligo (The Shield in 1986)

On a great run of form, playing against a lower-league team that's seriously weakened by suspensions and players being cup-tied, we "should" win it handily. That's the part that has me terrified. I was at the first Rovers v Bohs match and I'm sure Bohs must've fancied their chances before that one as well. Look where a positive mental attitude got them. At this point, I'd sooner be playing bleedin' Zimbru again than Rovers.

Anyway, Rovers look good value...Yes, although I expect a draw and Derry to win the replay.

Was reading irishfootballonline and elevenaside.com - Rovers (of the Shamrock variety) are going to be missing 11 bodies for the semi!!?, through being cup tied, suspensions, and injuries!!!

Whats Rovers cover like for all the ineligible players?

Well put it this way: we will be able to put eleven players on the pitch tonight (whether they're any good or not is secondary to our problem), but bar the reserve keeper none of us have managed to name a sngle player who will feature on the bench:(
