Sligo Rovers were fined €100 for the incorrect filling out of the official team sheet v Killester United (05.10.06).
WTF? 100 for making a mistake in terms of spelling or something.
Also Burns(2) and Peers(1) game suspensions for Rovers.

Sounds like the FAI have had it with that damn red biro!

Sounds likely. I, for one, call for Sligo to put their stockpile of red biros beyond use. An IAG inspection team, lead by General de Chastelain, will call to confirm that this threat to league peace is over.

I suspect Deering had a hand in this. :(

Not his fault if Sligo officials couldn't fill in the teamsheet properly though!

What about fillng in team sheets phonetically? I did PA at a Sligo Rovers - Kilkenny game a couple of seasons ago in The Showgrounds and it was a nightmare - never again !

How is Barry Burke accruing so many suspensions? He hardly seem to play, and was never particularly abrasive.

He has been booked practically every time he played (and he's been a regular at Centre-back this season and done quite well) because he is the lippiest player I have ever heard, 14 bookings this season and at least 10 of them were for dissent.

That's odd, he used to be a pretty placid kid.

Centre-half?? He just needs to play in goal and up-front for the complete set. Still my favourite player of all time. :D
