Yep thats him, he broke his leg a few years back and gave it up for a while and is now player manager of Star Rovers "B" team.

was at the boro and star game.twas a good physical game although georgy clancy seemed to make afew strange decisions.the way i saw it star were well on top in the 1st half and boro looked well on top in the second half.in fairness to star they looked goosed after sherlock got the 3rd for the boro but did very well to get back in thru a great john barry goal.good win for star.they deserved it for the heart they showed especially since they got well beaten the previous week by all accounts.just to comment on abbeyvales point that they were missing 1st choice left full.that left full is rubbish and after the game leonard o grady played at left full on sunday ur man wouldnt be getting back in if i was manager.

The OT team may have not done so well last season but my point is that he was still picked (while he was playing in Div 1A) so he must have been doing something right.

Well last week they only managed a 1-1 draw with bottom team Charleville and the latter missed a peno in the last minute so they can't be all good but in saying that all teams are entitled to a bad day!!! Well will give it to them!!

still can't be great as they used a right footed player at left full last year. then again it could have been the manager who had it wrong.

well i have seen him play on afew occasions for star and i think hes a very ordinary player.i know its only 2 or 3 games that i saw him in but i thought by his performances that hesw lucky to get on the star team not to mind oscar traynor.the point i was making abbeyvale was that leonanrd o grady played very well at left full and that i thought he was a much better option for star in that position.why waqs pa barry not playin from ther start against boro?was he injured?

I would imagine last 32...
There are prob 9 or 10 Junior leagues in Munster and 3 (4 in cases) qualify from each league to the open draw.

You see thats the reason I asked because even though you say 3 possibly 4 from each league go through to the open draw we actually have 6 from Limerick going into the open draw. See below?????
3rd Round Draw (Winners of each game go through to open draw 4th Rd).
Cappamore Celtic v Corbally Utd
Wembley Rovers v Pike Rovers
Bruff Utd v Aisling or Carew
Ballynanty v Star Rovers
Regional United v Herbertstown
Shannon Town

I see... I was speculating on it being last 32 but I'm not sure. 3 go thru from Clare each year to open draw.
I'm sure all will be revealed when we see the draw tomorrow...

Clonmel beat St Michaels in 2006...
I think Carrick Utd won it in 2005 and St Michaels in 2004

carew missed a few chances in the first half but aisling missed the same amount in the second. Great strike from John Mescall to win the game, not often you see G Steward beaten from that distance. proceedings were not helped by some very strange referring decisions, I am sure you will agree.
