I have a feeling that I am going to win the lottery tonight, as I do every Wednesday and Saturday night. I am just wondering what people would do if they were actually lucky enough to win it. Estimate €3,000,000

Give €100,000 each to the 8 siblings
Give Mother €500,000
Pay ofF Mortgages of the mothers of my kids
Buy a cottage looking down on Sligo and chill out for ever more

Pay off my mortgage and My Parents Mortgage. Make a movie/set up my own production company. Split the remainder between Bohs and The Socialist Party.
Hypothetical though as I don't do it.

I wouldn't take the 3 million. I'd try to spend the 30 million in 30 days without accruing any assets in the hope of winning 300 Million

Unless I'm mixing the lotto up with a popular 80s comedy film

Just about, but would you not rather buy one in Crete or somewhere?

If was going to buy property somewhere other than Ireland for personal use I wouldn't buy it in a place that's a popular holiday resort, even Crete.

I'd probably buy in a major city on mainland Europe/Nordic countries, because it's still got the city buzz and is cheaper than property here.

.

Crete's a big place though. Obviously you wouldn't buy anywhere near Hersonisis or Malia or Stalis but head out near Chania or even down to thhe southern part of the Island and its beautiful. Personally though I'd give serious consideration to buying a gaf in Vancouver, my favourite city.

I would go back to college forever and just study anything.
Also give some to family and put some into an account for some of my fav charities (including Monaghan United!) where they would get the interest annually to help them out.
