why the f**k do you need student ID when you already have a student ticket can somebody please explain to me!? what are the club trying to do....get the smallest crowd possible into the match so it will be less work for the stewards and staff??!!! its turning into a farce IMO!

Ring Perrys first. I bought the last full price there yesterday. All they had left was Student/OAP unless they reloaded.

because you'll have people who are not students trying to get in for student prices.they're completely right to ask for ID.

Yea but presumably when you bought the ticket you will have been asked for student ID as was the case when my father bought my ticket for me

Meaning you can buy a ticket while showing ID with someone else's picture on it? :p
Proves the sense in asking for ID at the gate.

Apparently, the capacity has been set at 5100, allowing 2000 for the Church hill terrace & Blue stand (all Derry) & 3100 for the rest of the ground, Rovers were hoping that the FAI would review the arrangements and increase the capacity, afaik they were to confirm on Saturday.
In the meantime they have erected crush Barriers at the railway end & the fence on the Town side of the pitch is demolished and the construction of a new wall is underway.

By the way does anyone else think the tickets are a joke? A photocopier and some yellow print paper and you are away with it. Word is that Derry fans are already wise to this and have "extra" tickets in production!!!

Have to agree 100%. The tickets are no better than cloakroom tickets. I can foresee major holdups at the turnstiles because of fake tickets.
Best advice, come early.

There is a Sligo Rovers Stamp on the ticket which alot of people have not noticed so if they do produce tickets they will not get in!
We have 150 left

Derry have sold out there 2000 tickets and are appartantly confident of getting counterfit tickets to work...

Well Derry have to use a different entrance so hopefully they will count them on the way in to make sure they don't use counterfit. This could turn into a disaster if Derry fans take the ****. If Rovers run it right Derry fans will only be taking their own fans tickets.
I know the club should have taken more care when producing tickets.

Quote your source or delete the post. And someone posting on a website saying the tickets are amateur looking doesn't mean that people are counterfeiting them. By referring to Derry you are referring to the club.
Put up or shut up.
