Dead right!! I remember last year, Cork were top with about 10 games to go, he said Cork wud win the league. We were neck and neck at this stage. He has his opinion but never ever gave us a chance. Same this year between ourselves and Shels. I dont mind him having an opinion but when he never gives us a chance it makes u wonder.....:rolleyes:

Scully is always writing us off with his "has to be Shels" attitude. He backed them to beat us in cup and league cup final. So just keep backin against us Scully.:p

Was glad it was on later than usual last nite coz meant got home from meeting and into bed with a can of beer to watch it! Bliss!
I wouldn't say that, he's been talking up Shels from day 1.

Eh, he made the right call then, and he'll make the right call this time again. Tipping someone for the league doesn't make you anti-the other challenger...unless you're from Derry and are suitably paranoid

Not at all reminiscent of shoddy. Scully is a professional and ROVERS fans are proud of someone who does a great job despite other fans paranoia.
BTW if that's you writing on page 232 on errotel it is very entertaining rubbish!

no I am not writing on aertel. that is run by two shamrock fans. wHY WOULD i BE paranoid about scully. He's got himself a part time gig. Fair play to him, he could well be the new Dolan in tv land

Yes he did but he never ever said we wud come close, always said Cork wud win it. I guarantee if Rovers and Bohs were in the same situation and Stephen Kenny said the exact same things as Scully, u wud think of him as the biggist ***** goin. Just because Scully is ur manager u defend him, fair enuff but u cant defend him not giving a fair call.

and is somehow a **** for not adding but I love Derry arent they great.

In fact on one occasion he tipped us to beat PSG, but lose to Shels in the following league game(drew 2 each with our centre forward in goals)....Now that's not being paranoid......He's doin well this season with his tips alrite..:p

I know that's what I would do if there was something I didn't like about Athletic. I'm sure the fans of City, City, Town, United, Rovers, Wanderers, Ramblers, County, Harps, Dublin, Bourne and Hemians would agree.
