Might sacrifice the Bray-Cork City for City of God. Then again there's nothing like Charlie McGeever's enthralling punditary!

Anyone watching the TG4 coverage care to speculate on what footballing legend the presenter will mention when handing the commentary back after the HT break?

We've had Rudi Voeller and Toto Schillachi in recent weeks. Has anyone else noticed this?

He seems to favour big names from the late 80's / early 90's...I'm going for Georghe Hagi.

Good news - the TG4 coverage is available on the web tonight for those outside of Ireland

Just after checking out the TG4 stream, it's great, only 30 seconds or so behind the TV coverage too.

He switched sports this week and gave a big irrelevant shout to Rocky Marciano. A man who apparently still has a load of yankee dollars buried somewhere.

Gary Mc Donnacha used to present Sportiris on TG4/T na G in the late 1990's.
They used to do a feature on the League here , and the talking heads for that would include Aidan Fitzmaurice ( Evening Herald) and Charlie McGeever.

They also spent years bringing us Spanish Soccer, and some crowd of Sporting Lisbon wannabes from Scotland. It should come as no surprise that they are doing a decent job of covering the League here. Long may it continue. Great performance by Bray Wanderers tonight.
