I got a ticket for the south touchline and when I went to find my seat I realised that it didn't exist! I had seat no.88 and when it came to no.87 there was a gap and then next number was no.91. Thankfully there were a few empty spaces around, but if it was a sellout I would have been up shít creek.

Another mess-up from the FAI.

I'm just amazed they called out the attendance figure.

I e-mailed the FAI about this. I'll forward on whatever response I get.

I had number 90. I was fuming, but to be honest, I expect no less from the FAI. If any of you idiots are reading this: you're the second most useless, incompetent, short sighted, self serving ******* in the country. Also, **** Bus Eireann.

I feel slightly better now.

I feel slightly better now. You've relegated the Student's Union to the third most self serving ****** in the country?

I've a funny feeling that there may have been some non-existent seat numbers in the East Bucket where we were. I've no problem standing in an aisle, but there were people in our section standing in the aisles who wouldn't usually be.

The eL tickets were usually away fan refunds. When the tickets were cut back in June 05, there was a bit of a row. The tickets were given back (slightly cut), but the FAI had to find space to put them because they'd just promoted a new batch of block bookers... So they're basically making seats up at this stage.

They could at least install the ones they make up.

The seat numbering jumped from something like 75 to 82 on the chair beside it on my row. Also, Schumi will testify, no matter what different number he picks compared to last time we always end up directly behind the net.

Internal Memo at Merron Square:

Seats 88 to 90 installed at Tolka Park as per request. They might be facing away from the pitch but it was a real struggle getting them to fit.

They weren't being used anyway. ;)
