Funnily enough I disagree with you Peadar :) .

I think its kind of unfair that they have to come down on a Friday. I know its the FAIs doing (TV coverage??), but what if there must bge a replay, we may be stuck with Thursday night, and, indeed, we amy be stuck with that for all the league games.

Disagree with you, Peadar. Sunday would be much better, and I think the only ones who benefit from this are Bohs and the scum.
I wonder does the inability of the Gardai to police any sort of event in this country have anything to do with the timing of the fixtures ?

sorry peader i think the fixture should be moved to a saturday.a number of reasons 1) i won't be able to see it if it is on a friday:D

2) it is hard on the derry fans and since when have city been in the business of sqeezing on other Nl club's and their fans

3) if it goes to a replay they will make us play on a thursday

4) screw RTE. they have some cheek telling anyone when they want matches to be played

5) nothing to do with the above but I think derry will beat us:mad:

How is that disagreeing with me James?

For the rest of you all I have to say is, if it's a draw in Turners Cross we may as well just hand the tie to Derry because it would save a lot of money on the wasted trip back up.

It now looks as if the game is defo on for the friday night so we as Derry fans have to get on with it.

Some ppl said on various message boards the us Derry fans will only 30 down no matter when it's played so now for the real story so far!

We the "Brandywell Pride S.C." have had to change to a 53 seater coach for the game as demand is very high and two of the other S.C.'s have almost filled there buses already plus the fact that we have a 100+ plane going down and the loads of cars who travel then I guess we will have at least a couple of hundred there.

I hope it's a good game (a draw will do lovely) and as most of us will be out on the town (win, loose or draw) then I hope you's Cork wans look after us and show us the best clubs,pubs and late night take aways etc;

I hope this friday night lark wont affect the good friendship we have had for years.

We have a chance to show the Dubs what football is really about. A sell out crowd. Good match. Result for one of the Citys. And no crowd trouble.
