thats enough cup talk for now..we have 3rd/4th place to play for
will be a hard game but it looks like waterfords mini revival is ending and we could be playing them at a good time
we could have a lot of injuries though and add
Chris Turner (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.
this as well so it could be a very youthful bench again!
prediction...2-0 rovers..

Cawley wont be playing, as he got a 3 match ban for his sending off.

He played an under 21 match for Shels a few years back. they won, think 2-0 if not 3-0. He scored one of the goals.

We have a full squad for the match against ye on saturday, the bans dont come in till october 18th so Cawley and McCarthy are both eligible to play.
My prediction is a blues win, were playing brill lately and it took a penalty from shels to beat us and that was even with the 2 lads missing.
SO WATCH OUT !!!!

macky, burns and mansaram are back so we should be ok. extra cupla days off should do hughesie&foyzer the world of good as well. turner's suspension is for the game v cork. judgey's out for 4 weeks, his knee cap popped out v killester and did a small bit of ligament damage. flannery be back training in 4 weeks. mckenzie had a strain going into killester game & was takin off as a precauition but i think he's ok.
comfortable 2-0 would be nice but could be a tight game i'd say

Sligoman, there's no big drum nymore! Or don't you remember ;) :D :p
Why not have one voice that can be heard throughout the ground?!? Two competing isn't as good as 1 big one! Proof, Tolka last thursday!

Why not have one voice that can be heard throughout the ground?!?and why not let that voice be the blue stand? It's bigger than the shed so can hold more, and yes, of course I remember theirs no drum now:p

its no shed,

seats,
kinda family stand,
spreads people out,
its a bit awkward

2. the away fans, I think that's a good thing cos it adds to the banter between both sets of fans. When singing in the shed, you can't be heard in the blue stand so the banter isn't great cos the away fans can't hear ye.
3. Seats? You can stand up behind the barrier if you want. Their were seats in Tolka if I remember?
4. Not really, the main stand is really the family stand.
5. Again not really, you can bunch up together if you want but do you really want to get that close to each other?:D
6. In what way?

A tricky one this. Its important that the attitude is right from Rovers because Waterford will battle hard. That's a big win for Drogheda in Derry tonight so they will fancy their chances of taking fourth. Its a bad result for Rovers on the double as Derry will be putting a lot of emphasis on the Cup now as they've practically blown their League chances.

go to the blue stand and make some noise.there are a lot of people who won't go into the shed but do want to sing so i think the blue stand is the perfect place.remember the noise we made in the last 10mins against pats!

Correct..... The blue stand has a nice atmosphere even if were not singing, some good slaging in it all season. But I do think its working fine, the shed has performed well the last couple of games & we are there to lend a hand when required.

It doesn't look like ye'll have any away fans to have banter with! Plans for a second overnighter in Sligo seem to have fallen through. I was really hoping to go because I've only missed a couple of games this season and didn't think I'd miss any more, but there doesn't seem to be enough people interested. Our forum has been down for a couple of weeks which has made it difficult to organise anything. As it stands, there won't be any away fans at the game unless a couple drive up.

Burns and Flash are supposed to start tonight, with Peers going to centre half instead of McNamara who is still out according to Aertel.

agreed, the thing that turns me off it, is the seats in the way...
