Law 1 the field of play states “A flag-post, not less than 1.5 m (5 ft) high, with a non-pointed top and a flag is placed at each corner.”

Law 2 the ball sets out that If the ball bursts or becomes defective during the course of a match:
• the match is stopped
• the match is restarted by dropping the replacement ball at the place where the first ball became defective
