I have someone's ipod here and dont have a clue how to turn it off, any help?

Just hold the play/pause button. Check to see if you have the lock on as well.

Failing that take the battery out, or give it to Staunton he`ll definitely turn it off..

If you just stop the music and leave it alone it will turn itself off after 10 seconds or so.

how do you charge an IPOD up in a car ?
Does it charge automatically if you have set up for the sound to come out through the speakers? I'm sure there would be something that would enable you to charge it through the cigarette lighter.
