Cyprus are not world beaters. and Czechs were muck in the world cup.

Fair comment re teams we're playing, but we're pretty much muck ourselves atm, but hey its Friday, Stan is 6 points from being a saviour.:D

good man bill, that's what i like to hear. but then i'm one of the few perpetual optimists around these parts. my irish glass is always half full, no matter how shyte we are :)

Eh...I think it was obvious that Paul O'Shea was taking the p!ss...7 points or nothing....kinda like "the lads need to give 150%" ......somewhat over optimistic.

Alright, Stan, please don't play Damien and Robbie upfront like you suggest you may do (unless as part of a 4-3-3) and we should beat Cyprus by 2 or 3 and a 1-0 v the Czechs would be Delightful.

Ah, pointless optimism.

Isn't the point of karma to do with cosmic realignment and the fundamental balance of nature? Where's the yang if we win two games? Do we lose twice agaisnt San Marino...:eek: Or am I, in my drunken haze, mixing several philosophies?

well change the title then as per request if you are not too hungover:) .....its only supposed to be as OTT as the bloody mindless pessimism :( :rolleyes: of some of the other posts round here...reading some of the threads you would swear we were playing some world beaters tonite as opposed to the perrenial whipping boys we are playing.they played us off the park the last time and still lost.
