    Hurley, McWalter out for season

Podge has had knee cartilage surgery after the injury in Derry. Hurley's got a hamstring injury and apparently won't be back this year.

Pity, though there's not much of the season left (and little enough to play for), so it'll be a chance for Kavanagh to make his mark.
You can't spell failure without FAI

That's the only positive you can draw from this. We'll see what Kav is made of, although he could opt for Finn on the right wing as we are spoilt for choice in centre mid having also Tony Mac, Dicker and Crowley.

I wouln't like to see Finn moved out to the right as he would have less influence on the game.
