Fair f*cks to Killester, whatever happens. Everyone was thinking they'd be handy opposition given the fact that they only beat Wayside to get this far. Always good to see non-league teams doing well in the Cup...

Aertel don't even have an updates page for this one.

Fair to say they'd probably have knock Dublin City out anyways

Big Clap for Killester. Even if they go out tonite, they deserve a huge bit of credit for their acheivements, just goes to show wot the cup is all about!!

WHO'S FOR THE TREBLE THEN!!!:D :D

Well in fairness, that would have been on a par with knocking out Wayside.

Can't get that feed to work - it's bringing up iTunes automatically and I press the Play arrow on the top left, but nothing's doing? Had Dundalk FM working grand before. Any ideas?

[And yes, the sound's on...!]

You won't have any excuses if you fail to win, having led 3 times over 2 matches of a full-time side against non-leaguers.

So the centre backs playin' for you tonight are of non-league standard?

In fairness, Killester's forwards have scored I think 20 goals in 4 games this season. So they're not bad.

Sligo scored. 4-3.

Itunes won't play all types of radio feeds. You may have (inadvertently) selected itunes to be your default for all audio, but you need to play it through something else. FWIW it won't work in Realplayer for me, but works fine in winamp.

Yeah, website advised me to download winamp alright. Computer now needs to be rebooted, but there's others logged on, so that's not going to happen. Guess I'll have to make do with the old-fashioned way of listening here!

They're carrying on a fine tradition. Frank Devlin, who went onto play for Athlone I think, scored over 60 goals one season for Killester. Great effort by them tonight.

Just back from the Cup Replay at Tolka - Killester and Sligo.

One of the most engrossing and incident packed games I've been to as a neutral in ages.

Well worth the €15 entrance fee

Killester easily deserved penalties. Sligo were awful, really really awful.

Wasn't impressed at all by Sligo in their approach to the game when they went ahead...if only Killester could have defended corners..

Over 1500 at the game. Rovers fans filled that stand behind the goal at the tunnel not sure what it holds? Very good atmosphere

And Killester looked like they were without a recognised goalkeeper from the highlights!

No way. Cup semi-final and possible european footie next season.
The support was fantastic, biggest away support for some time. 400+.
Well done Killester, they gave it all. Our injury situation is worrying. After McKensie went off injured, we played 3-5-2.

The New Stand seats over 1,000 so I very much doubt you filled it.

The New Stand is made up of 5 segments, the 4 squares have 256 seats each (16 x 16) so that over 1,000 without including the middle strip.

I agree. They certainly don't look like squares either but I'm sure I remember counting them one day to settle an argument!
