Well done to David "Dangerous" O'Dowd who has won the Connacht Tribune Sports Star of the week award.

He scored a hat trick in six minutes. Is this a record?

Fair play to 'Disco' (as he's known in our parts) for that hat trick last week, it must be one for the fastest in el history?? How is he getting on overall for ye?

Also is Raf playing for ye these days or is he still injured?

O dowd is doin well always gives 100% effort and gives a bit of pace up front he is keeping alan murphy on the bench. Raf has been back for around a month now has really contributed to this run we're on.Hope they can both keep it up for the run in

hopefully they can keep it going. raf is playing very good as he has every time he has put on the shirt but i've seen a massive improvement in dave in the past couple of months. buckets of heart, energy and pace but now hes starting to get a bit of a goalscoring touch to go with it.

As much as it pains me to embellish the lad's achievement didn't his hat-trick actually take place over 4 mins? :o
