great interview with the 3 GUFC officials - need to augment finances by 60-70% - everyone sign the petition - get the word out - family friends - whats a signature!

gate receipts only 10% of income - this has to rise - galway people want to have a team in the top league in ireland must show face, otherwise its football wilderness

thats todays theme

Tony,Nick Leeson and Bernie O Connell were just on talking about promotion next season , friday's game and the need for the people of Galway to get behind the club. They were talking about some petition type thing.I didnt hear it all but it was something about people pledging their support to United,. possibly something to present to the FAI.
Good positive 20 minute piece , which should help ticket sales

It's not worth much if you don't earn it.

well i think the idea of earning it went out the window when 50% is on the pitch and 50% of it - if we miss the boat i think the 20 souls watching utd in five years time out of the premiership will hold plenty of solace in earning their place in the 1st division

as one of the few actual ucd fans - your bound to feel threatened by ourselves - as youd be aware of the consequences for the likes of your club in the long run

anyway we will have earned it in this seasons performance and the hardwork that goes on off the field - the petition is a list of names sure - but i think it will focus the minds of those that think utd will take care of itself - what amazing ideas have sprung forth from the collidge - ye know your surplus to requirement in dublin - the south only wants the oval ball round there anyway!
