Well this is going to be the most one sided poll ever on these hollowed pages. What's the deal Shelsman, have you got an opinion on this that goes against public feeling or do you plan to send the results to Thick McCarthy in a desperate attempt for him to see sense....?

Interesting poll 9 years ago and 50 or more caps later :) After the World Cup and start of the new campaign?

While DEFENDING Johnathan Douglas last season I argued that he has no right to expect to be called up much less get a game while playing third division football. Sauce for the goose and all....

9 years later. Is this even relevant now??

Yeah how many people noticed the poll is from 2002. Pretty funny. Or sad, depending on your POV. Ultan has been in hiding for Donkeys years.
Just make KK an assistant coach and be done with it.

From what I can see there's not a hell of a lot of difference between sides in the lower half of the Championship and sides in the top half of League 1. Personally I would have begun replacing Kilbane a long time ago but I don't really think he should be dropped just because he's gone to Huddersfield. You could point to the fact that he's now playing central midfield but he's more involved in the action now, keeping him sharp, and has enough experience to go play left-back for us.

Me too (though not secondary school over here)...and I still wouldn't be able to bring myself to drop him.

He'll be dropped when we have a viable replacement for him at left-back. I can't see that happening until at least September. Fair play to Kevin Kilbane, he turns out for our country every time he's asked and has never once complained about being played out of position. I remember him being one of the only senior players to go on Stan's ill-fated trip to America back in 2007 I think it was.
