Directions from Watford Station? I live near the Silverlink about 20 mins south.

From Watford Junction: Turn right out of station ( up Station Road ) 100yards..Turn Right into St.Albans Road...walk for approx 300yards ( over railway ) Dunnings Bar on left ( next door to the "Champions" Bar....crummy Engggerrrland pub ).....basically max 10 minutes walk!

Cracking pint of Guinness here!!:)

I would be pretty sure that the New Inn in Brentford(next to the football ground) would have the game on there.I don't have confirmation of that though.

I can't say that I'm a big fan of the place though so I'll be looking for another pub in the locality to go to.

I'm torn between that, Claddagh Ring in Hendon, Fr. Ted's in Kilburn & McGovern's in Kilburn.

AFAIK it's on in McGovern's but only in the side bar which is small. We lost 1-0 to Croatia and bt Sweden 2-0 in a friendly when I've watched games there. To take my superstition to the nth degree, I deem that it's therefore unlucky for away games.

Your pub, Hendon & Fr. Ted's are all new venues for me which is good.

I may have friends joining me from Richmond & Fulham so Kilburn is easiest for them to get to. If they're coming up I'll prob try Fr. Ted's first and if no room or not on, I can get a cab up to Hendon in 15 mins.

If my mates aren't comimg up then it's Watford.

You're probably more confused now!

stuts ill meet ye in any of the non-fatbar pubs if you are up for it?

if your mates aren't coming up would you get the silverlink across to kentish town and up to east finchley? lovely small pub called the alex there, irish sky, nice quite place for watching games.

alternatively, if you got the silverlink straight across to kentish town, the boston is a good place stuts. always packed for the gaelic matches not sure about soccer though. if not I might make the trip up to kilburn or wherever.

Kilburn stn on the Jubilee Line

Brondesbury stn on the North London Line (Richmond to Woolwich Silverlink service)

Both of these are a very short walk from McGovs and Fr Teds.

The Euston to Watford Silverlink service stops at Kilburn High Road stn, a bit more of a walk, >10mins. This stn was closed because of a fire recently and am not sure if it's reopened yet.

Kilburn Park is further away on the Bakerloo Line, across the road from Kilburn High Road stn.

im east, stratford, so jubilee line will probably b the handiest Jubilee goes straight there alright. I think the Nth London line train from Woolwich to Richmond will pass from Stratford to Brondesbury too. Much the same. Tube probably more reliable.

Yeah ok, I know the game isn't on in Australia. [Which is a first for a while].

And I'm not that fussed anyway. BUT...

Radio broadcasting over the net options??
Anyone got advice?

Have you used this yourself? I paid for a site promising the same services as this site prior to the world cup, and basically what i got was a bunch of links to various tv channel websites (none of which were actually showing the games).
And four quid for a year's worth of football sounds a bit too good to be true, no?

No but it'll be on in any pub with the Irish SKY service so that's dozens at least in London. It just makes it harder to plan, that's all.

I know it's on in my local, The Corrib Rest. However, it's unlucky. We've not won a single game I've watched there since I moved into the area. OK, it's not so much that the pub is unlucky, more that we've been sh1te since I moved there.

Anyway, I resent playing second fiddle to English fans in an Irish pub, as they'll be showing England vs Macedonia in the bigger part of the pub.

Take it by the result you must have gone to The Corrib Rest then!
