On the town message board so looked it up
From:eleven-a-side (www.elevenaside.com)
Vinny Perth has agreed to stay with Longford Town until the end of the season.
The midfielder originally penned a four-week deal with the midlanders at the start of the season, but that expired last Thursday. However, he has since agreed to sign an extension to the contract, which will keep him at Flancare Park for the entire 2002 campaign.
Perth nursed some reservations about pledging his future to the club but these have now been addressed accordingly. He explained:
"I wasn’t happy with a couple of things during the summer but those problems have been resolved now. I’m delighted that things have been sorted out and I’m delighted to be staying longer."
Can anyone add to this story?? Seems strange Vinny would consider out!!
