Anthony Wolfe and Paul Rose both definitely gone it seems? Time to appoint a proper manager now surely? Two players who had improved immeasureably this season. Does the club just have a policy of bleeding itself periodically of players or is this some cost cutting with our season over?

What next ?

Thats bad news. Wolfe had played his best football in a Limerick Shirt this year and Rose had the makings of a good Striker with great first touch and close control.

The Season is well over now. Anothe Year, featuring the Limerick FC version of Hari Kari, it would seem is drowing to a close. What is wrong with our club ?

Wolfe And Rose Definatley Gone?

First I heard the'd left with Jason McCartney. Then they were apparently back and all was well in the garden. Now apparently they are both gone. I appreciate that we're expected to play a hush hush game about anything remotely negative that happens in the club but in all fairness... I hoped this sorta crap would be done with now.

Old news...happened a couple of weeks ago....after the Dundalk game. Both could not take any more of the mutant management of our esteemed leader.McCartney went back to Sligo the same time. This guy is making a bigger laughing stock of the club than the old regime did, and thats saying something,.

It was only a matter of time with Rose after O'Connor and his large henchman left tbh.

Will miss Wolfie alright though, he's earned his little space in LFC history and I wish him well. :ball:

His departure doesn't make sense to me though. Heard rumours of discontent because he wasn't being picked...... But he was being picked???

More down to disillusionment with the managerial tactics. He told me that Drew was going to take him off after 4 mins against Dundalk cos he made a mistake with his first touch, but Lynch and a few of the subs calmed him down....Rose had a similar viewof the new manager and THE sLIGO LAD JUST RAN AND KEPT RUNNING......

Thats the question isn't it.
Danny Drew has put money into the club, and should be commended for doing so. Bar this he has been a liability, and at this stage, we need to ask ourselves; do we really want to continue being an absolute joke of a club?

Yes, it's genuinely more fun this way :p :o

How can Drew consider himself a reasonable candidate as caretaker manager if this is how he reacts? Absolutely crazy.

Up until a few days ago I'd probably have sniggered right along with you. But right now I'm SOOOOO tired of it. I'm actually not even remotely looking forward to tonight's game, I'm going solely because this is what I do with my Friday nights for reasons that I'm sure I understand any more... :( ;)

Agree SLK. It has become a depressing awful mess and I am also sick of it all. You would have to question your loyalty in these times.

I would love to otherwise but feel we are in for a right beating tonight (Feel free to admonish me on Mon if proved incorrect;) ) and Galway at 6/5 in Paddy Powers has got to be the investment of the year.

Totally and utterly fed up

I will freely admit that when it comes to our club of late I have been a doom and gloom merchant.
However, the way this club is being run is killing us. If things keep going in the same vain as they are currently, there will be more trouble ahead. We will loose even more players before next season and I'm afraid the supporters will follow. The sight of Drew conducting the choir makes a mockery of us all, the supporters, the players and Tommy Lynch or Billy Barrett who would be in an obviously better position to caretake the management of the club until(?) we have hired a permanent manager.
As a buisness the club is being run in such an amateur fashion that it makes you wonder how Drew ever had money in the first place.
It really comes down to one thing here. The appointment of a manager.
If a mistake is made there I can't see anything positive happening this club for a good while yet. Sorry!

Didn't you hear, his first touch was Awful  ;) It's refreshing to see a manager willing to grab the bull by the horns and make tough decisions early :ball:

Jason McCartney left ye cos he said to Drew that the club was a joke and he wasn't travelling up and down for it anymore.

Fair enough. Tbh I never eally knew what purpose the guy served. I mean why take him on loan if we weren't going to play him?? :ball:
