Us WalkTheChalkers have gone all Mike Baldwin and gone in to the textile industry. We've put up a few Unofficial Eircom League T-Shirts on our site which are now available for purchase.

There's only a few there at the moment, but in time we'll have a few designs for every club. Each t-shirt sold puts a few quid in to our site and will help keep walkthechalk.com going (and free).

If anyone wants to request some designs, we'd be happy to have a go at doing them.

Feedback appreciated.

I clicked on the t shirt link and something in German came up with a login and password required form. Do I have to register to look at the t shirts?

Erm....can't explain that I'm afraid. The backend of the site is German alright, but you certainly dont have to register to see them.

Here's an old IT chestnut of a solution...clear your cache and try again!

I'm bothered by the Big Club one - the stick figure appears to have one and a half arms... is it some kind of Dave Morrison reference? he's left you know....

Nice idea. Best of luck with it.

Design ideas, off the top of my head:

I failed UEFA licencing
I should have used a 2B pencil.
Being a football club wasn't in the criteria.

Overqualified for the Ireland Job

Oh, and a UCD one:
I saw Alan Mahon score
What do you mean, eircom League?

Nice Foyzer one, another Rovers one could be "Singh and we're winning, he's Harpal Singh and we're winning" Or also something with "Dick Brush" after our sub goalie, Richard Brush:D

It's a different type of T-Shirt, as the ones used for the background of the others aren't available in that shade of green....nothing more sinister than that unfortunately.

It's one of Rico's legendary quotes. He was giving about some ref and he said in an interview "we were ridden rock solid." Link. (http://corktrophycentre.com/audios/richardson127.mp3)

Yeah, like Dman said...it was the cup match against yourselves - a magnificent interview from Rico as his customary elegance went out the window. He got a four match touchline ban and a Eur3000 fine.

There are indeed some Longford t-shirts on the way. Every club - even the first division ones - will have a few designs hopefully.

Nice work - but surely the Foyzer for Ireland one can't be a "slilm fit" as advertised!!!

Excellent idea! Maybe even make this a sticky? Am I right in thinking that these t-shirts are made to order, so even if there's none are bought, you can still add it for sale?

Can you upload pictures? A STIG t-shirt with the STIGG avatar (think Bald Student displays it) on sky blue would be cool!

GUISA (Galway United Independent Supporters Association) brought out a range of t-shirts 4 or 5 years ago. By far, the most popular one was "You'll Never Walk In Athlone"

Click on the GUISA section of the Italian website http://www.galwayunited.it/ to see the t-shirt and the others.

Yes, and yes (though we will need clearance from the owner of the photo to allow us to use it). Email us any images you want and we'll put them up.

A "Dillon Me Softly" t-shirt is surely in order..

15/09/2006, 11:11 AM
I've added a good few more including some UCD, Drogs, Cork & Bray (and the Dillon Me Softly!). There's some slinky ladies tops and a Cork City hoodie.

All designs can be put on to all clothing (t-shirts/longsleeves/hoodies/ladies etc). Just give me a shout to let me know what you're after.

The link is a bit erratic alright.

Try pasting http://walkthechalk.spreadshirt.net in to your browser if you're having problems.
