Does anybody know why these lads are not playing or are they just not good enough?

Not good enough, Choice is injured anyway not that it would make a difference.

Judges case i think its cos he isnt good enough , maybe he thought he would have an easy time of it coming over here. Choice maybe still can have a future

Does anybody know why these lads are not playing or are they just not good enough?Judge is **** and Choice is currently injured. Sean insists he's for next season. Don't see why he cant be for this season too though?

Judge and Choice aren't good enough. As for Choice being for next season. In November he'll be gone and all that will be left of him will be the feint echo of Willie McStays laughter ringing around the Showgrounds. Choice was a gamble that didn't pay off. Its not the first time it happened and it won't be the last. Thats football.

Correct landrover, in fairness Connor talked up Judge far to much telling the press he is technically to good for this league which is total understatement, i think it's to early to judge choice at this stage, although if i was Flannery i wouldn;t be to worried about competition for the subs bench whenhe returns

if i was Flannery i wouldn;t be to worried about competition for the subs bench whenhe returnsJudge and Flannery are the two worst strikers at the club imo. I'm not saying Choice is great but from the few sub appearances I've seen him in, he has potential.

Choice is easily good enough, probably too good for this League.
When he came on against Drogheda he changed the game in our favour.
Defenders couldnt get a look in,he was too strong and big for them and also was the only player who got any good moves going.

As for Judge....was great at the start but too many lackluster performances from him in afraid.

Very premature , He deserves more opportunities.
Also every signing is a gamble in a way

Choice is easily good enough. How many of you who say he's not good enough were in Drogheda? I thought Judge was good at the start but faded.

judge is good enough lads!! come on! he is a very good intelligent footballer with a great touch! his only problem is he must have thought it was gona be too easy for him here and he never really got a good enough spell in them team! he is a very good player IMO but just fell out of favour of the manager! will be gone at the end of the season im sure! as will many others i think! as for choice, have never seen him play yet, wasnt at the games he played in so cant comment!

i have seen choice in drogheda, longford etc and he is definately good enough. if he scores a goal soon that will give him the confidence. he is a very good strong player and he is going to be our trump card as the season progresses. i fell sorry for judge (nice guy) but needs to put in more effort. as for the comment made by someone on this board regarding that a lot of the players will be gone. me thinks not as most of them have signed a 2 year contract. what we must do is keep encouraging the players wheather they are playing or not. make them feel wanted and that they are part of the club and that the supporters care about them. no negatives please!

Choice isnt good enough, the difference between two strikers. Who was at the friendly against Galway at the start of the season and can remember? Flash looks like a footballer from the day I seen him and nothing stands out for Choice?

were you not at the Drogheda match.....We were being bet into the goals until he came on and gave us something up front,so that the ball wasnt coming back everytime we sent it up there.

From what I seen of him he looks very ordinary. With Mc Tiernan and Flannery injured Rovers have been playing with one recognised striker up front, the other front player being Cash, a winger. Yet they have two other strikers in the squad that can barely make the bench never mind actually start.

I was at it Stars would not exactly agree with this but he did do well but would not be in my starting line up.I wasn't at the Drogheda match but we all know The Stars slightly exaggerates when it comes to how good Choice is;).

choice hasnt faileds because he is being saved for next season i think...a few sub appearances might come up soon and if we get a good lead in 5th place[think a win saturday could make it very very hard for pats to catch us and that would only leave bohs] he may start a few games as the season winds down....he has the ability obviously and he will do well here i think

How can you say i am exaggerating this when you werent at the match?
we all know how sligoman slightly under estimates things when he is opposed to them...for example his inability to hear the shed singing during a match, even if other people, who were standing only a few yards from him can hear them clearly:rolleyes:

any who thinks choice has been a failure on the back of about 70 mins football is bit of a c*ck in my opinion. give the lad a chance. new culture, new style of football, new team mates! seanie is purposefully holding him back after the way paul brown went last year&he's right to do do. as for judgey, he's technically great&very clever but just a bit too slow. when i look at him playin think he's a bit over confident&make stupid decisions(ie ambitious finishes when he could just roll it past the keeper) but apparently he's actually lacking confidence and rumours of a fall out with seanie are exaggerated.
