Anyone see it? Flicking through the channels & came across a familiar voice.

Gunther was sitting the stand doing long enough interview - telling how happened to get the new signings this season - excuses for last season - how we (the fans won't accept anything less than europe this season. Showed the lads training too - looked like they a bit self conscious with the cameras watching ;)

Whatever else about tv3 good old Trevor always sounds enthusiastic (spelling??) when informing of upcoming big eL games.

Yeah I saw it too. Fair play to TV3, it was a good piece of coverage on the eL (once again), putting RTE to shame.

They also mentioned in the report that John O'Flynn is on a 2-year contract.

Yeah I saw it, it was much better than anything you'd see on RTE and TV3's el deal doesnt even come into effect until October.:)

Stumbled across tv3 sports news again last night & had second part of report from the cross.

John O & George O did fairly good interviews. George told good story about someone who played or got boots somehow from someone who played at Old Trafford - George scored first tiem he wore the boots & has worn ever since...... He said people sued to slag off as being no good cos boots were supposed to have been Andy Coles LOL :D

i was watchin that. good interview, like and it made the lads and the club look very professional. i;d say TV£ will give good coverage to the EL when they get goiung. RTE should just let them cover it now as they obviously have no interest in it.

Yup, if RTE claim isn't commercially viable & no one watches the eL surely they've nothing to lose? Of course if they cared about irish sport they'd also give up their veto....

Would have made for much better interview if tv3 could have showed the lads cracking in a few goals...
