from DundalkTalk's MB::
"Reports last night suggesting Cousins and Alan Murphy have had a bust-up after Murphy was taken off against Athlone last week.
Only made the bench in last nights win over Kildare. A good player who they'll miss if this isn't sorted out. Will do their title ambitions no good at all but then again they're going up anyway, so what does it matter where they finish."

Any player should be disappointed if they are not on the starting XI.
GF, starting a thread like this is misleading. You are taking one unsubstantiated post on another forum, adding two posts of your own and saying "See, look here" !

No Pa, you might have noticed my question mark in the thread title, I'm asking is it true. I'm not starting a rumour about it, I'm seeing if this rumour is true.

I hear also that the squad are owed tens of thousands of euros by the club and will all quit after tonights game.
Stephen Lally is coming back as manager and he will use the U21s for the rest of the season.
I'm not starting a rumour, just seeing is it true

:D :D
There is nothing wrong between the 2. Training is on Thursday night and anyone can go up for themselves and see that all is well in the camp.

Agree, threads like this are just stirring trouble for your own team, if they come from the Dundalk forum (one of our main rivals), then you are only helping Dundalks cause.
crazy post francis . I couldnt be bothered what dundalk fans are saying im more interested in next saturday nights game and the 11 that follow. Murphs hasnt exactly set the world alight and numeous posters on here have pointed that out and its not the 1st time he has lost his place thie season.
Lets concentrate on ourselves and forget about what Rovers and Dundalk fans are talking about.

Not thrilled with this thread at all, but hey let's not stifle freedom of expression.
Our expectations of Alan were probably unrealistic. Will someone name a player who returned to a former club and did as well as before they left?
Another thread between the Kildare and Cobh wins suggested Alan and Conor were the right partnership upfront.
I think the 2 results speak for themselves and a resounding well done to all concerned is called for - not least the manager.
Sadly Dundalk and Rovers are keeping the gap, so we have to hope for a maximum return from the 30 points available to us between now and the end of the season.
Back to Alan for a moment. He has proven over and over again that he has class both as a goalscorer and provider from deeper areas of the field. He'll come back to his true form before too long.
But the Manager is the one who picks the team, and rings the changes and that's where I'm offering my support.
The oldest and most accurate cliches are that the "table doesn't lie" and that "results speak for themselves".
I think this thread should be closed. We need everyone pulling together for the next 10 games and this is just what we dont need.

thats completely the only thing that worried me was that in kildare we should have been able to win a shade more comfortably than we did, with the front two not offering any real threat.
Any that game is over and three points have been gained and another three so fair play to the lads and keep it up
