View Full Version : Kids Burnt in car in Limerick
Suspected case of arson with 2 kids a boy of 4 and a girl of 6 badly burnt in a car in Moyross , Limerick.
It is understood two children who were seriously injured in a fire in a car in Limerick city on Sunday will undergo operations at a Dublin hospital today.
The children, a four-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, were in the back of the parked car at Pineview Gardens, Moyross when the blaze started.
They will undergo operations at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin.
Gardaí are investigating the cause of the fire. One line of inquiry is that the fire was started deliberately.
Niall McNamara, the father of the children, has said that someone had poured petrol into the back of the car and set it alight.

I read a report in yesterdays Examiner that the kids mother had refused to give a man a lift into Limerick City and he lost the rag. Gardaí were investigating him.
Fairly sick thing to do.
Those poor children can never again have a normal life.

Whatever the true facts of this case are, those children didn't deserve this.

Agreed. It's hard to not to sink into the rhetoric of 'vermin' and 'scum' in the face of these actions. It's the kind of thing that makes me wish there actually was a God and a Devil and a Hell where something really kinky could be cooked up for the type of cnuts that would do that to two kids.*
I can't help feeling there's more to this than has been released though. Mightn't have been released for sound "operational" reasons or whatever but ...I dunno.
Thoughts are with those two wee kids now anyway.
*nearly three kids -she'd apparently been about to put a one year old in the car when she decided he needed a nappy change.

Theres only one thing for those sick cnuts and thats "natural justice". If they are willing to set poor innocent child alight, I say burn the bastrads.

Whatever the background, there is no way that children aged 4 and 6 deserve to be targetted in such an evil way. The kids are innocent, regardless of what other elements may have contributed to the attack.

I completely agree.
Sure it was probably an accident or the offender had a difficult childhood?

.
it does sound like there has to be more to the story than is being mentioned but the dad doesnt live with them so its just a single mum with 3 toddlers , its even harder to imagine what 3 toddlers could be getting upto to deserve to be set on fire .
pure scum up there, they had running battles with the cops throwing petrol bombs and assaulting any gaurds that came near them . now in my book if you throw petrol bombs at people you are trying to kill them so i reckon call in the army / ERU and just shot the *******s .problem solved if they move them to another estate the same trouble will move with them
my house is about a mile from this estate and i hang around in moyross an odd bit but wouldnt even drive through this part let alone live there .
