Check it all out at www.limerickfc.ie
It's the most frequently updated official football website on the planet. Tells what's happened even before it happens.

Think he was being sarcastic there. Did anyone see EL weekly tonight, once they dont win Scully doesnt appear on the show and even though the camera was there, our weekly viewing of dublins finest isnt shown? But dont worry one day when we reach the EC final RTE/TV3 might show limerick and we'll surprise them when they discover that we wear blue

Apparently we're not launching a kit at all now this season. Even allowing for all the hoohaa with Dolan and sponsorship that never came to pass this is a pretty huge screw up by the club. It would have been a handy (if not massive) income stream to have going all season and would have helped to raise the profile of the club locally too. I also appreciate that the club view any form of criticism on this forum as an act of an enemy of the club but whatever, they have dropped the ball on this one and should be big enough to admit that.

I agree SLK. It's not big money but it is money down the drain.
Were any jersies ordered? I still wouldn't mind one if tehre are a few floating around.

Rumour in the Showgrounds last night, that Gavin Dykes (now with Castlebar Celtic) has been offered the job. Have any of you heard this mentioned?

Is it just me that thinks appointing coaches, including a goalkeeping coach, before you appoint the manager is a bit back to front? Shouldn't a new manager appoint his own coaches? :ball:

I heard his named being mentioned along with Kerley as the main contenders.
The jersey thing is unfortunate to say the least, I know its nit picking but it ties in with everything said about the site and the advertising at the ground. Completely wasted opportunity to bring in much needed funds and it shows us up as being an extremely unprofessional club.
What will happen Tommy Lynch should a new manger come in? From what little has actually come out from the club, they seem to be saying that they are putting the staff in place prior to offering the position to the new manager. Surely the new manager has the biggest say as to which coaching staff comes in or out???
It does seem more and more like the club is moving arse first forward and getting the appropriate results.
