Nope. Not yet. But I'm not expecting much as I think I'm number 3000+ on the list

I am still only being offered friendlies (think i am 1600 on list)but to be honest i wasnt expecting to be offerred qualification tickets as the waiting list was going down very slowly, if at all.

How does the waiting list be reduced, people are unlikely to give up their allocation as they know they are gold dust

1. Death in the family ? son/daughter continues to take tickets in fathers name, i am sure it happens and who could blame them.

2 Financial circumstances - unlikely as a way will always be found, and they can always be flogged on if desparate

3. Emigration - probably the best bet but thankfully not a major problem as it once was and the tickets would probably revert to a relative.

So if the redevelopement wasn't going ahead i wouldnt have expected to much movement on the waiting list.

Nope and I wouldn't be expecting to either. Czech game is likely to be a sell-out and from the looks of it, the Czechs are taking their full allocation too.

Biggest way the list went down I suppose is some club or some guy getting about 10 tickets and only takes say 6 for a friendly and loses 4 tickets. Thats the main way there is movement in the list in my humble opinion.

I know a fellow who was getting 16 tickets through BB but 10 pulled out when they had to start paying for freindlies(unfortunately did not know him then or I would have took a few:( :( )

Same ere in Donegal..Pointless friendly during week(up to 7 hour round trip, half day off work to go up, land home about 1-2am and then up for work next day..

Dunno what it is for this game lads but you look to be screwed. I have phone calls looking for tickets coming in morning noon and night. The two I had spare have just gone.

Best get is to get dressed up in all your clobber and head for Jurys Ballsbridge. A mate does it all the time (travelling up from Waterford without a ticket in as much green as he can muster) and invariably gets one at face value from genuine fans for being a genuine fan.

Out played by Cyprus - how far have we sunk. Couldn't get to the match, couldn't see it on tv but listened to it on RTE. By 75 minutes I wanted to boil my head! I know that Stan will take the flack but there are some players who seriously need to look in the mirror and ask themselves " do I really want to wear the green?"

Nuff Paddy,a lot of people here have been supporting Ireland for many years..i myself have only missed a few home games since 1990 but sadly am not on the BB scheme(priced out of it),just because your Oxford based and probaly using an internet protoype since 1973 does not give you the right to condem people by the ammount of posts they make,i expect when they demolish Lansdown Road DHL will deliver a portion of the east stand to you because it is your god given right...
Not everyone has 24 hours a day to spend on the net trying to create a world record for posting messages to boards...

i come to that conclusion due to some of the people you see attend these games....and after saturdays game, these same people will stay away until the next hype wave comes....
but supporter means supporting ..... even in this new low.... you have to take the rough with the smooth...and by god are we in some rough at the moment!!!!
