Drogheda United boss Harry McCue has revealed that the club is hoping to sign a quartet of players in a bold bid to hold on to its Premier status.
Top of the list is the Brazilian striker Rabello, 28, who is available on a free transfer from Dutch outfit AK Alkmaar.
Rabello arrived in Ireland last Friday and has appeared in two friendly games, a 3-1 victory over Glenavon and a 7-1 demolition of Mullingar Town. Rabello impressed in both outings without scoring.
McCue will also be speaking to Swansea defender Christopher Todd, 21, Stockport’s Dave Smith, 30 and Kevin McDonald, 21 from Dundee. "We have had a good look at four trial players and I was happy with what I saw," McCue commented.
