....or are they?
think about it.
they'll defo screw up!
We'll see jockey boy, we'll see....
Are you SuperGretna in disguise......? :D
If you're not, I'll happily add you to my signature if we pick up any silverware this season anyway.
....so ure already settling with "any silverware now"
ah the downgrading begins.
As has been conclusively proven this season, your shower were unable to beat us in Richmond Park. So shut your treble hole!

So you are still Saints, though you're sporting a natty new Kildare avatar this season. Were they all out of Burberry....? ;) Or do you ride a horse bare back around the streets of Dublin ? :p
No downgrading - it's called not tempting fate or being too cocky. Qualities I suspect you wouldn't be too familiar with, given the certainty of your dismissals of our chances.
You may well get to grace my signature yet..... :D
I like horses.
But I don't like accumulators or trebles if you will. Shels for me - all hinges on what Fenlon and Bohs are at.

How can it be conclusive when we still have to play you on the 10th of November - and as far as I remember we got a draw, away from home when we weren't getting results in Dublin - remember you were the home team
And I see there was no mention of the 3-1 scoreline from the Brandywell in that post of yours
yeah cos i was waiting for you to say it.
we drew the first half 1-1, I notice you conveniently omitted that fact!

Well Oman scored in the 23 and 31 minute and Foley scored in the 40th to make it 2-1 going into half-time - so you actually lost the match overall and in both halves

Pats, UCD and Longford can all tell you about poor crowds at LC Finals.
Depends on what you define as a poor crowd. Last year's final crowd was about four times our average, which wasn't bad.
Your FAI Cup Final last year was a poor crowd by FA Cup Final standards. It's all relative.

Yeah, because there's over 20,000 there every year!
I was at Bohs v Longford the year that Bohs won the double and they couldn't fill Tolka.
I'm certain that Pat's v Longford had a smaller crowd at Lansdowne too.

So you're backing Shels to win the FAI Cup? :o After all - you're claiming that we won't win any silverware this year...
I havent backed anyone to win the FAI cup

I havent backed anyone to win the FAI cup
So how can you say that City won't win any silverware, and then that's it's "Shels for me". It obviously can't be Shels for you to win the Cup, which therefore opens the possibility that we might win the cup, especially as you're not backing anyone else against us.
And what's with the pathological dislike of doubles, trebles and accumulators (whatever that is, in non-bookies terms ?) ?
jaysus will u chill out!
you're suffereing severe withdrawal symptoms since the demise of Dublin City!

The only suffering I'm doing is having to listen to you on here....!
:D
you dont have to listen to me on here, technically there should be no sounds associated with these posts
but if you're hearing voices....the Dublin City Loss Syndrome IS AT AN ADVANCED STAGE

A mind-numbingly dull sound tends to emanate from your posts, followed inevitably by a groan on my part. And sometimes the sound of head being placed in hands......

You obviously didn't get the analogy.
He said the FAI Cup final attendance was poor by FA Cup final standards not FAI Cup final standards,
He was drawing a comparison with a League Cup final held in Belfield where a crowd that was considered large there, which it was, would be considered low by a LC final held in say the X or the Brandywell.

Cash on delivery of course.
How did you work this out?
We are entitled to half the allocation, you're not giving them to us to sell!!!

Shels lay on free buses for Derry trip:

Wonder if our Dublin Supporters Club can use them?

Is "free" a synonym for "We won't pay"?

How did you work this out?
We are entitled to half the allocation, you're not giving them to us to sell!!!You're entitled to half the tickets and 40% of the gate.
But we all know you won't use them.
Moral dilemma for Shels. Do they:
a) demand their rightful allocation of tickets (3,000 or so), sell 100 and reduce the capacity of the ground, and reduce their share of the gate accordingly; OR
b) request only the tickets they need and be outnumbered by a factor of 50 by Derry fans.
Ollie must be tearing his hair out.........
PS the last time Shels ran free buses to Derry was the week after the Deportivo game when 50-70 fans showed up.
A mind-numbingly dull sound tends to emanate from your posts, followed inevitably by a groan on my part. And sometimes the sound of head being placed in hands......

if we use them or not,is not the point. You asked why should we get anymore than 20 and i said because we are entitled to them, which you have just agreed with, therefore proving my inital point.

I can also state right now that those figures are wrong...............it was less!

Nominations. Good for you.
The famous snooker player Steve Davies won lots of nominations and awards in life. But he was still frighteningly dull... :D
