No, you werent dreaming, we lost to them in 2002, but the Ulstermen beat them with a hat-trick from David Healy...a CCC man is putting Keane and Doyle to shame

Fair play to N.Ireland, managing to win one big game during every qualifying tournament!

I'd be quite annoyed if I was an NI fan. if they can raise their game and beat the likes of spain and england what cant the do it all the time and qualify for something...

My missus is from Tyrone - bragging rights will belong to her for a good month or so!!! Great performance last night and Healy was outstanding.

Great result!!!

But they will go out next game and get beaten!!! Like they did last weekend!!
Obviously they are better than that! So come on Northern Ireland At Least one of us Irish teams should qualify!!!

thats exactly it you see. We always let ourselves down when we are favourites(not very often).

Well, at least they reacted in the right way after the disaster vs Iceland I guess. The game versus Spain was amazing, coming back from behind twice, three goals from Healy including two top class ones... The game had everything, and a victory in a bit of a dramatic way made it all the sweeter. If they had played the same way vs Iceland it'd be 6/6 now, but anyway...

But let's see what happens with Lawrie now, as this may very well temper all the enthousiasm :(
